Founded in 1830 Caithness Agricultural Society is a membership organisation that coordinates, administers and runs the annual Caithness Show. The north’s premier agricultural event and highlight of the Society calendar, this popular event is well attended by locals and tourists alike and is the largest event held in the county.

The Halkirk Highland Games, a traditional and spectacular Scottish sporting event is held in Caithness in the far North of Scotland, near to Thurso, the North Coast 500 travel route and the famous end of the road landmark of John O’Groats. It is always held on the last Saturday in July and attracts a crowd of around 3,000.
