Luke ‘The Highland Oak’ Stoltman

Luke Stoltman, born in 1984 in the Scottish Highlands, is the eldest of the Stoltman brothers and a prominent figure in the world of strongman competitions. Inspired by his grandfather, Luke began training at 15 and transitioned from bodybuilding to strongman in his late 20s, winning his first local contests in 2011–2012. Balancing work on oil rigs with training, he steadily rose through the ranks, earning multiple Scotland’s Strongest Man titles and improving his standings at Britain's and World’s Strongest Man events. In 2019, he went full-time in the sport, making history with his brother Tom as the first siblings to reach a WSM final. Luke's career peaked with major wins in 2021 and 2024, including Europe’s Strongest Man and multiple WSM finals appearances. Known for his resilience and late-blooming success, Luke has cemented his legacy as one of Britain’s top strongmen.

Tom ‘The Albatross’ Stoltman

Tom Stoltman, born in 1994 in Invergordon, is the younger brother of Luke Stoltman and one of the most accomplished strongmen in the world. Diagnosed with autism at age 5, Tom found a passion for sports early on and began weight training at 16, inspired by Luke’s success. With his brother as mentor, Tom quickly rose through the ranks, winning Highlands Strongest Man at 18 and steadily improving to claim his first Scotland’s Strongest Man title in 2018. His international breakthrough came with a 5th place at World’s Strongest Man (WSM) in 2019, followed by a near-win in 2020.

Tom reached the pinnacle in 2021 by becoming the first Scot to win WSM, and repeated the feat in 2022 with a dominant performance. Alongside this, he also secured Britain’s Strongest Man titles and multiple podiums at global events. After a brief break, Tom returned in 2023 with consistent top finishes, including 2nd at WSM, podiums at the Strongman Classic and Shaw Classic, and setting a British record in the dumbbell press. With raw power, focus, and family support, Tom has become a defining figure in modern strongman history.
